Lyle Sample has worked at the Nampa Civic Center since 1998. As the Facility Operations Supervisor, he is responsible for scheduling hours for our technical staff, working as an audio technician & promoting a positive and friendly environment for everyone who comes to the Nampa Civic Center. If you have ever met Lyle, you would know he accomplishes all of those things and so much more. Lyle lives in Nampa with his wife Gwen. He has two daughters, one son, one granddaughter, two stepsons, one stepdaughter, six step grandsons and one step granddaughter! When he is not at work or with his family, you will find him listening to music or performing, watching sports and driving the T-“blue”bird of happiness.

Patricia Walker White is the Arts Coordinator for the Nampa Civic Center. She has been with the City of Nampa for eight years. She works with the Performing Arts Series, coordinates Visual Art Exhibits and our various Arts Education Programs throughout the year. Working to enhance our community with art and access to the arts is a passion that also extends to serving on the Nampa Arts Commission. She is active in the community working with several non-profit groups, community theatres and serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Vision Charter School. Her three daughters are her greatest joy and number one priority.

James Brown has been with the Nampa Civic Center for over 6 years. He has been an event and wedding coordinating for over 18 years.
On his time off, James also works as a professional DJ and Announcer and does events throughout the State. He grew up in Nampa and calls this area his home. He loves working with people and enjoys working as an event coordinator for the City! James is actively involved in the community, serving as president of the Treasure Valley Kiwanis Club. When James is not at work he enjoys; golf, fishing, camping, and hanging out with his friends.

Deidre Friedli has worked for the Nampa Civic Center for nearly five years. She has lived in Nampa for the last 14 years with her husband, Brett (a Nampa Police Office) and their three children. As an advocate for keeping kids healthy and active, Deidre has been involved with the Nampa Optimist Football & Cheer Program for four years, and served on the cheer committee. In between working and being a soccer, football, track, basketball & choir mom, she will be found in the mountains camping, hiking and enjoying quite moments away with her family.

After four years at the Civic Center, Michele feels like she knows just about everything about our ticketing service, well, almost everything. Michele has taken our box office to a whole new level with her hard work, dedication and perseverance. When you meet Michele, you will instantly know her by her genuine smile and outstanding customer service. When she is not at the Civic Center, Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and driving her two children around to all their various activities and sports. The entire family enjoys serving at Lakeview Bible, traveling, hiking and reading.

Chris has been the facility operation technician at the Nampa Civic Center for the last three years. As our lead auditorium technician, you will usually find him running lights or sound for one of our many evening productions. Chris lives in Meridian with his wife, Cynthia and their two children. Chris loves playing guitar and is a huge Baseball Fan. As a performer for many years, Chris not only knows how to work the guitar, but also breaks loose on the microphone from time to time.

Bob Law has worked for the Civic Center for 8 years and currently works as our floor staff lead. Bob hands down, has the best knowledge of what will fit in every inch of our meeting rooms. Our event coordinators often look to him for his knowledge and experience. Bob lives on farm near Wilder with his wife, Gloria and they have one son. Many people may know Bob as one half of the dynamic JB Duo, who are seen at many local events. As a talented piano player, you will see Bob on stage from time to time in supporting our youth programs.

As our longest employee of the Civic Center, Bob has spent the last 19 years as part of our team. If you book an event on the weekend, you will know Bob by his exceptional customer service. He lives in Nampa with his with Terri. Bob has two boys and one grandchild. In between working two jobs, he still finds the time to rock out on the drums and indulge in his passion for classic cars.

Ron Gardner has worked at the Civic Center for 12 years as part of our floor staff team. Ron resides in Nampa and spends as much time as he can with his six children and 31 grandchildren! On his off time, he enjoys reading, woodworking, back packing and hiking.
